Manitoba New PNP Draw Issues 174 Invitations

Manitoba held 94th Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) draw on July 16, 2020  issued a total of 174 Letters of Advice to Apply (LAAs) to immigration candidates.

The purpose of LAAs is to invite candidates to apply for a provincial nomination for Canadian PR. LAAs were issued to Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP) candidates under the following streams:

Skilled Workers in Manitoba: 134
Skilled Workers Overseas: 11
International Education Stream: 29

It issued a total of 174 Letters of Advice to Apply (LAAs) to immigration candidates.

The purpose of LAAs is to invite candidates to apply for a provincial nomination for permanent residence in Canada. LAAs were issued to Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP) candidates under the following streams:

  1. Skilled Workers in Manitoba: 134
  2. Skilled Workers Overseas: 11
  3. International Education Stream: 29


18 of the 174 invited candidates had profiles in the federal Express Entry system.

In today’s draw, successful candidates needed a score of at least 430 points to obtain an LAA under the Skilled Workers in Manitoba stream. Skilled Workers Overseas candidates needed a minimum score of 811 points.

Successful candidates in the Skilled Workers in Manitoba category must meet certain criteria, such as having a full-time permanent job offer from an employer in Manitoba.

Finally, international students that graduated from an educational institution in Manitoba may receive an LAA under the International Education Stream if they have in-demand skills.

Manitoba has issued LAAs to 2,634 candidates in 2020.
