Overview:
Hong Kong Quality Migrant Admission Scheme, the Scheme is a quota-based entrant scheme. It seeks to attract a highly skilled or talented person who wants to settle in Hong Kong in order to enhance Hong Kong's economic competitiveness.
Successful applicants are not required to have secured an offer letter from employer before their entry to Hong Kong for settlement.
Scope of the Scheme:
The Scheme is not applicable to nationals of Afghanistan, Cuba, Laos, Korea (Democratic People's Republic of), Nepal and Vietnam.
Visa Validity: Up to 3years (extension applicable)

- Applicant age must be above 18 yrs.
- Applicant must have a good education background, normally a first degree from a recognized
- university or a tertiary educational institution.
- Applicant needs to possess more than 2 years of full time work experience.
- Applicant need to submit proof of language proficiency in English/ Chinese by passing IELTS/TOEFL.
- Applicant must be able to demonstrate that he/she is capable of supporting and accommodating

Application Process
Fee Details:
Education Credential Assessment 323 CAD
Visa Fee – 190 KHD per head.
Process Involved:
- Need to submit the application form along with the relevant documents to QMAS Hong Kong.
- Document verification and Education credential assessment (323 CAD) will be conducted.
- Application is forwarded into the pool of applications in QMAS body.
- Applicants who are allotted in a quota in the selection exercise will be issued with an
- Approval-in- Principal Letter; such applicants are required to pay visa fee and come to Hong Kong to attend an interview in person and present originals of all the documents submitted during the application to the Immigration Department of Verification.
- Applicant can enter Hong Kong on Visitor conditions for this purpose. The issue of this letter to the applicant doesn’t not automatically guarantee his/her entry to or remain in Hong Kong under this scheme.
- Issue of Visa: If all the original documents are satisfactorily verified and all relevant application procedures are finalized, successful applicants will be issued a visa or entry permit scheme for staying in Hong Kong under the scheme.
Following the interview result, apply Hong Kong permanent residency status.
